In the Haihara Art Center area, even the youngest members of the family can experience art in various forms during the August evenings. The traditional Haihara Puppet Theatre gathers the whole family to admire the antics of Hölmölä village until the end of August. The popular and free Children’s Night of the Arts on August 17th features performances and activities for the entire family.
Haihara Puppet Theatre
The ‘Hölmölä Village’ performance is aimed at the whole family. Directed and written by Terhi Viljanen. Puppets: Jenni Huutoniemi. Roles: Johanna Ala-Siurua and Terhi Viljanen.

Children’s Night of the Arts
The staff of Haihara Puppet Theatre introduced children to their first immersive night in 2004. Children’s Night of the Arts is an event for the whole family, where participants can enjoy different art forms both by experiencing and creating. The program is built around different themes each year.
Art Night on Saturday, August 17th, from 18:00 to 21:00: The program includes samples from Haihara Puppet Theatre, Orffit (music), and participatory art-making with Sirkusrakkauspumpum.
