The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region spring semester officially begins on January 13, 2025, but courses of varying lengths will start throughout the semester until early June. During the spring, the Adult Education Centre will offer over 1000 courses in languages, crafts, arts, health promotion, and various knowledge areas.
The general lecture season starts on January 23, 2025, with the “Tavoitteena ilo” lecture series. During the spring, you can also attend the Sampola Genealogy Day, “Mestarit kameran takaa” lectures, and numerous history lectures for free.
Registration for spring semester courses begins online on the registration website on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 12:00 PM. Support for online registration will be available at Sampola in front of the Adult Education Centre office on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the computer classroom at Sampola. In Ylöjärvi, support for registration will be available on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Library Leija.
Registration by phone (tel. 040 8016471) and in person at the offices in Sampola and Ylöjärvi begins on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Customer service is available in Finnish and English through all channels.
If a student has already registered for a full-year course that started in the autumn, they can check the schedule and spring payment details by logging into the “My Registrations” section on the registration website. If a student does not wish to continue the long course in the spring semester, they must cancel by November 30, 2024. The Adult Education Centre will admit new students to the available spots.
