Atmospheric Haihara Christmas is being held for the first time
In the warmth of the Talli, you can meet Santa Claus, enjoy Christmas tales from Mrs. Claus, and admire musical performances by Teatteri La Strada. The beautiful Christmas concert by the Tampere Salonkiorkesteri will take place at the Kartano at 3 PM. The Haihara Puppet Theatre will enchant with the Christmas Circus performance, and the impressive Fire Lady’s Elf Fire Show will be seen in front of the Kartano at 4 PM. The Pakari will transform into a crazy elf disco with DJ Pasi spinning the coolest Christmas hits, inviting everyone to dance. Stunning installations from community light art workshops will be on display as part of the event in Valjasvaja and Kahvikamari, where delicious rice porridge, mulled wine, and pastries will also be sold. You can buy freshly made pancakes or make your own at the Kaukapartio booth. The cozy Christmas shop at Runeberg’s Cottage will be open from 11 AM to 5 PM. Bus number 10 will take you directly there. Please dress warmly, as the venues are mostly cool. Free entry!
The event is organized by the City of Tampere’s Public Cultural Services, the Kaukajärvi and Annala district program, Haihara Coffee Room, Haihara Puppet Theatre, Teatteri Lysti, Teatteri La Strada, Interi ry, and Kaukapartio.
