Registration for spring courses starts online on the registration website on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 12:00 PM. The spring courses have already been published and can be viewed on the registration website.
The printed course guide will be distributed as an advertisement to homes in Tampere and Ylöjärvi starting November 27, 2024. Additionally, the course guide can be picked up from libraries, Sampola, and the Valo Training Centre. The printed course guide includes a list of courses, but detailed contents and special schedules can be found on the registration website.
The Adult Education Centre will set up support points for online registration:
Sampola: Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM (in front of the Adult Education Centre office) and Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (in the computer classroom).
Ylöjärvi: Monday, December 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (at the Leija Library).
Registration by phone (tel. 040 801 6471) and in person at the offices in Sampola and Ylöjärvi begins on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The Adult Education Centre recommends online registration.
If a student has registered for a full-year course in the autumn term and does not cancel the course, they do not need to re-register for the spring term. The spring course fee can be paid from December 4, 2024, by logging into the “My Registrations” section of the registration website. The course fee can be paid online until the course start date. If the fee is not paid online, a paper invoice will be sent to the student’s home.
The Adult Education Centre reminds that any benefits and discounts must be applied for before paying the course fee. Discounts cannot be granted retroactively.
The spring semester at the Adult Education Centre officially begins on January 13, 2025, but courses of varying lengths will start throughout the semester until early June. During the spring, the Adult Education Centre will offer over 1,000 courses in languages, crafts, arts, health promotion, and information fields. Additionally, there will be over 20 free public lectures, some of which can be watched live on the centre’s YouTube channel.
